As a counsellor, psychosexual therapist, couples counsellor and eating disorder practitioner I provide confidential non-judgemental support during times of difficulty, transition or crisis, by making the time and space available to explore issues that underpin feelings of anxiety, fear, disturbance or trauma.

My areas of speciality include:

  • Rediscovering couple cordiality
  • Restoration of intimacy
  • Premature ejaculation
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Loss of desire in males and females
  • Sexually compulsive behaviour
  • Internet pornography addiction
  • Vaginismus, dyspareunia, inorgasmia
  • Teaching relaxation techniques
  • Stress coping mechanisms
  • Strategies for handling destructive thought patterns and behaviour
  • Obesity
  • Bulemia Nervosa
  • Anorexia Nervosa

I offer a warm, reliable and therapeutic relationship and I strive to work at a pace that is negotiated with you to ensure that you feel safe, comfortable and at ease.

I work with individuals and couples and always respect individual values, personal choice, resources, culture, ethnicity and sexual orientation.

I work integratively by utilising skills and techniques that I have developed through studying across the range of therapeutic modalities including Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural.

My work focuses on helping you to get in touch with, and value, your inner resources to help problem-solve from a position of personal power and strength.

I have a long and successful track record of helping clients become more empowered to adopt new coping strategies for themselves in order to change unhelpful or destructive behavioural patterns by letting go of deeply-embedded beliefs, hurts and conflicts.

My private counselling, sex therapy and eating disorder practice covers Hertfordshire & North London areas and can include daytime home visits.

As an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to its Professional Conduct Procedure. My membership of British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy (BASRT) also ensures that my work as a psychosexual therapist is bound by the organisation's strict ethical conduct code.
