I have substantial NHS experience as a Psychotherapist in Bedford and Northampton, and alongside this have an established private practice. I am able to offer open-ended work with people who have a wide range of difficulties, which may be long standing and complex.
I offer a safe, confidential, quiet place where you will not be judged, and where you can begin to make sense of what has gone wrong with your life. Through recognising and understanding your difficulties and the underlying causes, you can cope better, become more in control, and can bring about lasting change.
Usually I suggest an initial one hour consultation where you can tell me something about yourself and what has brought you to consider psychotherapy. At the same time, you can get a sense of how I work. There is no commitment to ongoing therapy at this stage. I will let you know whether I believe psychotherapy will benefit you, and you can take your time to decide whether you feel it offers a way forward.Qualifications & Training
I am a member of the London Centre for Psychotherapy, and registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council. I subscribe to their published code of ethics.Experience
I have nearly 10 years experience working locally as a Psychotherapist in NHS Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy departments. I provide supervision to both trainee and experienced Counsellors and Psychotherapists. My private practice has been established for over 15 years.Fees
