I was introduced to counselling twenty years ago when I went to Relate myself. I found the counselling experience life changing and learned a new insight into relationships. A number of years later I started training with Relate and have never looked back.
I see my clients in a comfortable office in my house. I receive more than half my work through recommendation and receive very positive feedback from my clients. I usually am able to offer an appointment within a week.
Experience tells me that many difficulties within a relationship can be resolved. Clients come to me with many and varied issues. Most will have tried to work things out and may have feelings of hopelessness about making changes. With my help you will have the opportunity to uncover the root of the difficulties, explore thoughts and feelings and to work out new ways of talking openly about them. You will also discover ways of listening and being listened to. This leads to a sense that we are really being understood and able to be ourselves.
I have a Relate Certificate in Marital & Couple Counselling (Theory and Practice) and have trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at The Wimbledon Guild Counselling Service.
The work I do is short term. It would be quite usual for clients to come for somewhere between six to ten sessions.
The sessions are weekly and are £50. |
