Originally trained and volunteered in youth counselling, I went on to train and work with offenders in the Probation Service. I developed a counselling practice in the early 1980's and have run courses in stress management and have worked with individuals in different settings including the Health Service. I trained as a sexuality and relationship psychotherapist qualifying in 2000. Over the years I have undertaken ongoing development and training by way of short courses. Some of the issues I work with are depression, anxiety and stress, trauma, addiction, loss and bereavement, sexual dysfunction, gender issues and psychosexual problems, sexual and emotional abuse and relationship difficulties.
