Dr. Greg Madison is a registered psychotherapist (UKCP) and chartered counselling psychologist (BPS) working in Brighton and London, UK. He also works internationally as a facilitator and trainer in Focusing Therapy and existential therapy.

Greg offers a range of confidential therapeutic services to private individuals, to agencies, and to organisations in both Brighton and London. This includes individual and couples therapy, developmental coaching sessions, accredited mediation services, and experiential Focusing sessions. Greg also has special interests in cross-cultural relocations and the deeper meanings of 'home' and 'belonging'.

Focusing training and clinical supervision are also offered at both locations. Greg is a registered provider with major private healthcare insurers in the UK.

His approach to practice is broadly 'existential' and 'experiential'. This emphasises the client's everyday life experience and their own way of making sense of the world. Sessions are designed to be engaging, within a democratic atmosphere of mutual respect and dialogue.

Greg is also guided by the experiential method of Focusing, which encourages clients to value their own felt experience even when it is difficult to put into words or to understand fully. Staying with a bodily felt sense of a problem, concern, or project, can lead to surprising new steps and creative solutions that would not have come through analytic thinking alone.

Greg is active as a senior lecturer, writer, and researcher. He works from ethical codes of practice (UKCP, BPS, EAP) and actively affirms diversity within his approach to practice. He consults from central locations in Brighton and London.
