I have been practising as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 1998.

I work with clients particularly specialising in addictions, relationship problems, anxiety and depression, and life or career changes. I also deal with loss and bereavement as part of the work. I have worked with clients who have been diagnosed with disorders such as bipolar successfully.

What is existential therapy?

Existential therapy is a way of exploring your view of the world, understanding yourself, and looking at the possibility of change. The therapy supports choice, freedom, and responsibility. It recognises that everyone is different and needs to find their unique path. It encourages people to shape their own lives, creating value and meaning.

What can you expect?

We will explore your experiences and feelings, concentrating on what you consider most important. Existential therapy focuses on whatever you bring now, in the present, while acknowledging that you may, or may not, wish to explore the past. It emphasizes free will and the ability to make choices. People come to work through their concerns with such things as depression, relationship problems, and feelings arising from a crisis. Existential therapy is also a good place to explore life changes and professional and career problems. Whatever the specific issues, it is likely that changes in self esteem and self confidence will arise from the therapeutic process.

BACP Accredited. UKRCP Registered.
