Richard Best and Jan Parker established the Family Workshop in Sussex providing couple and family therapy with children and their families & carers. We are both UKCP Registered pychotherapists and provide venues in Brighton and Lewes.

Qualifications & Training
Richard qualified at the Tavistock Clinic in 1990 and Jan at the Institute of Family Therapy in 2004.
Richard is a UKCP Qualified Supervisor.

Experience
Together we have worked with children, families and couples in Child and Adolescent Mental Health centres in Sussex, and privately do the same in our own therapy work. We work with children of all ages, and provide tailored sessions responding to clients needs, combining individual, whole or part family group meetings. We also work with the wider professional group if required.
Richard and Jan are tutors on training courses at the Institute of Family Therapy and Richard is a clinical supervisor in London.
We have worked with courts, where there is high parental conflict, and where children are traumatised from domestic violence or abuse. Our work embraces a wide range of child and family issues. Couples and families can elect to work with one or both of us, and many couples prefer to work with a man and woman.

Fees
From £50 for couples and families and £45 for individual sessions.
