I am a lecturer in Existential Psychotherapy Practice at NSPC & Middlesex University in London.

I work in accordance with UKCP, BACP and BPS guidelines, and am experienced in engaging with depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, identity and meaning.

I have presented my doctoral research for the award of Doctor of Existential Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy, leading to BPS & HPC accreditation as Counselling Psychologist.

Qualifications & Training
My BSc and MSc in psychology are from Sweden, they were broad in focus and gave me solid grounding in the subject. After several years of working with the United Nations, I chose to return to psychology, doing my foundation and first year of training in the contemplative and mindfulness based core process psychotherapy training of Karuna Institute in Devon. My continued training has been with the phenomenological and existential NSPC in London, where I have also presented my doctoral dissertation, leading to the award of Doctor of existential counselling psychology and psychotherapy, and also accreditation as a counselling psychologist. I accredited with UKCP as a psychotherapist in 2010.

Experience
As mentioned above, my earlier career was in the United Nations, and I’ve held senior positions in UNOPS and UNFPA, primarily in complex emergencies. I very much appreciated the efficiency and focus of these intense environments, and feel that I bring some of the resilience needed in that work into the therapy room.

Fees
I charge £50 per session.
