During counselling I offer a special kind of listening space to people. My approach is person-centred - based on the belief that everyone has unique potential for growth and self-healing. This includes you!
My role as a counsellor is mainly to understand, value and be honest with my clients. I also sometimes draw on ideas from other counselling approaches, where these would be helpful to the client.
I won't wave a magic wand over your life, but I will help you find your own answers.
Here are some of the areas I have experience of working with:
Grief, loss and change
Relationships, including separation & divorce
Stress-management
Anger
Confidence, assertiveness & self-esteem
Work problems, including bullying
Suicidal feelings.
I can offer a free initial 30 minute meeting, if this would be helpful.Qualifications & Training Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, University of Strathclyde, 2007
