I am a UKCP and BACP registered psychotherapist which means that I am fully qualified and registered with two professional bodies which are responsible for the maintenance of professional standards. I work with individuals, couples and groups and I hold a Masters degree in psychotherapy and a BA Hons in counselling using Transactional Analysis.

I help people presenting with a range of issues, for example, a sense of not belonging anywhere, depression, sexuality, panic attacks, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement, cross-cultural issues, bullying at work, career decisions and many others. My client group emanates from different cultures, races and lifestyles.

Current research is showing that the single most important factor in predicting the outcome of therapy is the quality of the relationship between the client and the therapist. It is very important that you take the time to find a person with whom you feel comfortable and safe enough to speak openly. I fully appreciate that taking the first step to meet with a therapist can seem difficult. It is accepted practice in the therapy profession for potential clients to make a one-off appointment in order to find out whether or not the person you are meeting feels right for you.

I have a busy practice and aim to make the most efficient use of my clients' resources.
