I practice from an integrative humanistic counselling model, based on the person centred approach. I have trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a range of counselling approaches including Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy, which I tailor to the needs of the individual client.Qualifications & Training I have a Diploma of Higher Education (with Distinction) in Counselling from John Moores' University, Liverpool and I am currently studying towards the MA in Counselling Studies at the University of Chester.
I have further qualifications in teacher training (adults/further education), working with abuse, group work and brief counselling.Experience From a background in nursing, my counselling experience has included working within general practice, working with substance misusers and counselling in a college of further education.Fees £40 per 50 minute session for individuals, £45 for couples and £45 for organisations. Couples and individuals may pay by cash or cheque at the end of each session, whilst companies will be invoiced at the end of the contract.
