I have trained in many sorts of counselling, from one end of the spectrum - psychodynamic: working on the effect of the past in the present leading to change in feelings leading to changed behaviour, to the other end of the spectrum where challenging and changing behaviour and thoughts can lead to changed feelings.
In the first session I am assessing with you what sort of therapy would make most sense and help you best and how we might go about it. Qualifications & Training

From my basic training with the Marriage Guidance Council (now Relate) and sex therapy training at Claybury Hospital Psychology Dept. thirty years ago I have worked with individuals and couples and supervised other counsellors. For ten years I taught on counselling courses. For the last twenty years I have been in private practice in Buckhurst Hill.Fees
£60.00 an hour for couples.
£50.00 an hour for individuals.
