My approach is person-centred. I do not offer advice or believe that I have all the answers, but I've found that, by providing a safe environment that is non-judgemental and geared to your own needs, it is possible to work your way through the difficult moments of life.

Sometimes, all we need is a space to explore our difficulties - away from the confusion and distractions of ordinary life. As somebody not involved in your life, I might be able to help you to find ways for you to move forward and grow. It can be a very exciting journey - difficult at times, but worth the time and effort.

I have experience of working with a variety of different issues - including abuse, low self-esteem, relationship problems, depression, stress and anxiety. I have worked with adults of all ages from 16 up, and have particular experience of working with older teens, having been one of a team of counsellors at Colchester Sixth Form College.

I work in both the Colchester and North London areas, on a long or short-term basis, depending on what feels right for the client. I am registered with the BACP and work according to their ethical framework. I also possess a current CRB check.

If you feel you'd like to call me to discuss the possibility of counselling, I'd love to hear from you. This brave first step will potentially lead you on to much better things.
