I use a range of therapies interchangeably to tailor to your unique challenges. You might have been to talk therapy, and you felt it didn't work for you. Or perhaps you've tried hypnotherapy, but the approach was very rigid and uninsightful. Whichever way you've come to this page, you'll be someone who is looking for a good therapist who can act as a guide through your challenges. If you are aware of any of the following in you, I may be able to help:
depression
anxiety
weight issues
lack of money
lack of success
loss and grief
your circumstances as they are
feeling useless
feeling worthless
wishing it could be different
your difficult wife or husband
bad behaviour in your children
the neighbours' language.
There are so many things we convince ourselves we can't change. But with a little bit of attention to how we speak to ourselves and moreover, why we speak that way, and you can start to break out of these straightjackets that you've been set and are now accepting for yourself.
There are no laws about how to interact interpersonally. The most calm and sorted people say it as it is. They may have fears, but they still allow themselves the freedom of making a mistake because they recognise they are not perfect and don't demand perfection from anyone else.
The rest of us however, are living life by prescription. We're looking at others, and trying to find out if we can earn a place in their worlds. We're trying to find the least offensive way of taking up space in this world. Apologising for who we are and hoping to feel good ... the two of which don't go together somehow, do they?
You know, this may not even be going on consciously. Think about it though. If it's unconscious think how much more damaging it might be? Running there in the background, sabotaging you. You just trying harder every time to do more with the same tools ... and then wonder why you got the same results.
Change is scary. That's why you need a really good guide on your path through change. That's how I come to be a guide through your troubles and challenges.
What qualifies me? Well, I suppose the first qualification is life. In my 40's I've been around a few years, done a few things, moved a few times, had a few relationships, got a daughter. The second qualification is the fact I've been a Buddhist for 27 years. The third qualification is that I trained in psychotherapy and hypnotherapy for 3 years. And the fourth qualification is I've been in practice 10 years.
I've treated hundreds of people for anything from depression to phobia to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is something I'm known for as I also train my peers to treat this condition. You can find out more by going to my website or to www.theopenmindguide.com.
I can now even work by skype or telephone. So distance should be no block to your sound mental and emotional well-being. You can email me or add me to your skype 'onespiritwoman'.Qualifications & Training 3 years in integrative therapy.
