I can offer a professional, non-judgmental, safe and confidential environment to explore issues that are affecting you and your daily life. Most people at some point in their life experience emotional or relationship difficulties and can make sense of these in identifying the reason. However at times we may feel stuck and unsure.
The aim of Person-Centred counselling is to provide the opportunity to build a trusting and accepting relationship, which enables the counsellor and client to explore issues within a safe environment. This space and time allows the client to gain greater understanding of their difficulties and to make sense of what is happening in their life. It provides the opportunity for personal development, to take greater control of their life, and to make changes for the better. Also it aims to enable you to maximise personal choice and potential that encourages a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
If you decide to make an appointment the first session can be used to ask further questions about counselling. Also by us meeting face to face, you can decide if you will be comfortable working with me. If you wish to proceed we will agree a contract, including day, time of sessions and confidentality.
