Almost everyone needs someone to turn to at difficult times. Counselling can help you come to terms with emotional problems or troubling aspects of your life, and gives you an opportunity to share your concerns with someone skilled at listening. Talking with an experienced counsellor can help you to understand how past experiences and current behaviour may be linked, and lead you on to a better understanding of present circumstances and how to cope with them. Counselling allows you space to explore thoughts and feelings about yourself and your relationships with others, and can help you to make significant changes in your life.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist and work with couples, individuals and young people. I am BACP Registered and an NHS Honorary Therapist with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and the Psychoses. I work with anxiety, bereavement, identity problems, obsessions & phobias, relationships, sexual identity, sex related issues, sexuality, stress and general counselling.
My approach is mainly psychodynamic but I utilise other techniques too. Sessions are conducted at my home in Stebbing, last for 50 minutes and are treated with the utmost confidence and empathy.Qualifications & Training

My standard fee is £50 per session but I do on occasion offer concessions if appropriate and I am able.
