My core approach is person-centred although I do integrate other theoretical approaches such as CBT into my work, in line with the client's needs. I work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a broad range of issues. I have considerable experience of working with people who have experienced trauma including childhood abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. I also work with issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement and loss, self-esteem, relationship issues and work-related problems.
I am committed to providing a safe and respectful space for individuals to grow, embracing difference in sexual orientation, faith and religious beliefs, culture, race, gender and education.
I provide both short-term therapy (6-12 sessions) and longer term therapy, depending on a person's needs.Qualifications & Training Diploma in Counselling 2004
