Gestalt Psychotherapy is a therapeutic relational approach concerned with awareness and personal choice. We all have a natural tendency towards wholeness and health. We are each unique and have the ability to respond appropriately and creatively to our own needs.

However, throughout life, circumstances have sometimes forced us to make choices and create fixed patterns of behaviour that now leave us feeling dissatisfied, stressed, uncomfortable or ill at ease.

In Gestalt Psychotherapy we explore our here and now experience in order to gain awareness of how we might be habitually reducing sensations, feelings, thoughts and actions and creating patterns that no longer help us. When we gain a fuller sense of our moment to moment activity through working with a therapist we can increase our choices in how we live and interact with other people.
