As an Accredited Member of the BACP and a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor & Psychotherapist, I am passionate about talking therapies, and work conscientiously in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework.
I am committed to helping clients reflect carefully on whatever is troubling them, respecting the autonomy of each person to make their own choices, whilst valuing their experience of life ... and striving to understand in a non-judgemental and accepting way how they feel from their perspective.
Talking to someone about very personal feelings can be very daunting, and it is always a privilege to listen to and help a client explore what is troubling them.
I work from a Person-Centred perspective, believing that the client is best placed to know him & herself best, and I relish each opportunity to help someone come to know and understand themselves a little better ... something that life can make so difficult at times.
