Working with individual adults and young people and with couples.

Offering long (open ended) and short term therapy once, twice or more frequently a week depending on the issues, wishes and requirements of those attending.

Also providing clinical supervision and consultancy (including family consultancy and supervision to family lawyers and mediators).

My practice is in a discreet office in Bishop's Stortford town centre with plenty of public parking and access to public transport.

Qualifications & Training

  • UKCP Registered and BACP Accredited, UK Register of Counsellors.
  • 4 year psychoanalytic psychotherapy training with The Cambridge Society for Psychotherapy.
  • Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling from Harlow College/Middlesex University.
  • Trained Supervisor (British Association for Psychotherapists).
  • I am also a qualified and experienced family mediator and mediation supervisor.
  • BA Hons (English) Leeds University.

    Experience
    I started working as a counsellor when my preliminary training started in 1992 and have continued to practice in various settings since that time, so have a broad experience of working with individuals, couples, and groups.

    I have specialist experience of working with separating and separated families.

    I also have experience of facilitating group work.

    Fees
    Fees are reviewed annually in April and are currently £40 for one to one sessions and £50 for couple sessions.
