Psychodynamic therapy gives the opportunity to make links between the way we are today and experiences from our past - allowing the relationship between the therapist and client/patient to unfold over time. Meetings are usually at the same time every week to allow a feeling of safety and security to build, along with a trust in the therapist. Thoughts, feelings and dreams are discussed as they arise, allowing unconscious ideas and feelings to become known in their own time.Qualifications & Training UKCP; FPC; Snr Accred BACP, Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, WPF Dip in working with AdolescentsExperience I have been qualified since 2000, and work in private practice with adults and a secondary school with young people.
