I see clients in a private and confidential setting where we have an opportunity to explore any difficulties or distress they may be experiencing.
By listening attenvively, without judgement, I can begin to perceive, from the client's view point, their difficulties and help them to see things more clearly, possibly from a different perspective. Counselling can be enabling for the client and can bring about positive change and create a greater sense of personal autonomy.
Over twelve years in my counselling practice I have gained a wide experience in helping clients with issues which include: depression, anxiety, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, spirituality, eating habits, life changing traumas, eg. Redundancy and retirement. Qualifications & Training B.A. Hons (Arts and Psychology) 1992.
