My training in psychodynamic counselling means that I tend to work in a way that helps clients to identify and think about situations in their past that may be related to situations and feelings in the present. The way we feel and behave, how we relate to others and how we cope with difficult situations is often influenced by our past experiences. I can help clients to explore difficult issues and find ways to understand and overcome emotional distress in a calm and safe environment.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to the BACP code of ethics. I am on the UKRCP register for independent counsellors and psychotherapists and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).Qualifications & Training Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic and Person-centred Counselling, University of Hertfordshire.
