I work long or short term, offering a safe environment for the exploration of self and in which to discover that who we are is not set in stone - that we can recover the excitement of growing and changing.
In a long career I have worked with a wide variety of people. I find that the Gestalt approach provides a practical and accessible method of helping clients move themselves on from present difficulties. I see the therapeutic task as a co-operative one in which the relationship between client and myself is crucial to developing the confidence needed to confront and experience often painful material. I help a client tap into potential which is usually outside their awareness in order to become who they may be.
