David Challender has over 25 years of experience in this field and has worked in many different settings with young people, adults of all ages, couples and families. He has also had extensive experience working with groups and organizations as a consultant. In addition he has been a Clinical Supervisor to Psychotherapists, Counsellors, and Project workers in many different agencies.
His approach is integrative and is centred upon enabling individuals to gain understanding into the impact of experiences and relationships on current feelings and states of mind. Clients are offered a safe, confidential framework in which to explore their emotions, personal difficulties, and the meaning of their existence and motivations. He aims for clients to become empowered to bring about changes to achieve more fulfilment in their lives and to develop a more positive sense of self.
