Sometimes its difficult to know why we feel angry, upset of fearful. Thats because an event was often so upsetting that we store the memory in in our unconcious mind and forget it, but the trouble with that is the emotion remains and its difficult to access the memory to deal with it. I have been working with adults since 2002 and adolescents since 2004. I specialise in helping individuals who have suffered abuse, domestic violence, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, mental health problems such as depression, Bipolar and Personality Disorders, anger management issues and physical problems such as MS and ME. I use a technique called Psychodynamic Reiki Counselling, which allows individuals to enter into a deep meditative state, thus allowing conscious or unconscious memories to be found and dealt with safely from the first session. Thus treatments required are generally only 1-4 sessions. Each session takes between 1-2 hours so I charge per session. The counselling also allows people who find speaking about the issue difficult (such as due to misplaced guilt) to release these feelings.
I also train clients in self help techniques and can work on a 1:1 basis or with groups. I am CRB checked.Qualifications & Training
