I have been in practice as a therapist since 1996 and have gained wide experience in many different contexts. As I have developed my understanding of myself and others, I have been able to always understand how everybody's story makes sense when you can see it in the context of their life experiences. My focus as a therapist is to facilitate you to make sense of your own story and to find a way of accepting yourself and giving yourself the empathy you deserve and need in order to find freedom of choice.

I incorporate many different philosophies into my practice, including transpersonal, humanistic and existential. My focus is on empowerment and making personal choices whilst being in a relationship where you feel accepted and valued for your uniqueness.

My experience has been with young people in schools, in a youth agency, also with adults experiencing the death of their children, sexual violence, sexual identity and general relational issues.

I also teach counselling so have a good understanding of student counselling issues.
