Sometimes clients want to share their feelings but cannot until the relationship between them and their counsellor feels safe enough. I hope to ensure you feel comfortable with me and that I am working at your pace with the understanding that I am ready to listen when you are able to voice what needs to be said.Qualifications & Training
I care passionately about people and the counselling profession and providing the best possible therapy to my clients. I have studied for over five years to gain a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling in 2007 and then in I studied and worked again to achive in 2009 an MSc, a Masters in Counselling. I am also a counselling supervisor to other counsellors.
In 2009, I was proud to receive Accredited Counsellor status which means I met the standards and competences as a professional counsellor stipulated by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
Experience
My area of expertise is with adults. I have worked with adults in a GP surgery, with mature students at a University, and was accredited within a bereavement agency. I work for Employee Assistance Programmes, organisations on contract and private individuals.
I am a counselling supervisor to other counsellors in the Swanley & Dartford area but most importantly I feel I am genuinely able to help people.Fees
My fees are £40 for counselling of adult individuals.
£35 counselling for student trainee counsellors.
