As a counsellor, I work with you to help you to explore, gain insight into and find your way through the difficulties that you are experiencing. I believe that people have, or can access, all the resources they need to enable them to achieve positive change but sometimes they need help in finding them and that's where counselling comes in.
I am not there to judge, advise or lead you but to provide a safe, supportive and confidential, environment and relationship, in which you can have the time and space to decide what's the way forward for yourself.Qualifications & Training
Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork; CPCAB.
Practitionership in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP); INLPTA.
Msc. Therapeutic and Clinical Supervision; Univ. Salford.
Cert. Education; UCLAN.
BACP Accreditation.Experience
I have worked as a counsellor in many settings over the past 10 years. Some examples of this are; staff counsellor at a local college; women's refuge; EAP schemes; private practice. I act as a supervisor for qualified and trainee counsellors, individually and in group settings. I run Personal Development groups and facilitate counsellor training courses at a local college.Fees
Counselling £30 per hour (reduced fees for trainees and unwaged clients).
Supervision £30 per hour (reduced fees for students).
