Counselling may help you if you are:
Feeling very sad or unhappy
Having relationship difficulties
Unable to make a decision
Depressed or anxious
Suffering from low self-esteem
Feeling the loss of someone close.
Counselling is an opportunity to work through your difficulties with non-judgemental and respectful support.
About Supervision: I offer Supervision and support to Counsellors and people working in the helping professions. I use a person-centred approach, and I believe that a collegial supervisory relationship brings out our best-practice. I've worked as a Supervisor in a number of settings, and clients have included: Community workers; Managers; Volunteers and Case-workers, as well as Counsellors working for different agencies. I also welcome trainee Counsellors.
I trained as a counsellor because having counselling once changed my life, and I believe it can make a real difference. Now I offer Person-centred Counselling to people who feel they'd like to look at their issues with support, and ultimately to understand themselves better.
I live and work in South Manchester, and as well as seeing clients in my private practice, I've worked as a counsellor in a variety of settings, which include: The Roby; Stockport College; 'The Doc's' GP surgery; St. Matthew's School; MindMatters; Connections Counselling Collective, and Central Manchester Women's Aid.
How to make a free introductory appointment for counselling or supervision: you can contact me by ringing either of the numbers or you can e-mail me. You can also look at my web-site.
