Our therapists have significant experience in the NHS and public sector; offering individual therapy across a range of modalities, as well as supervision and training. Each of us has trained and worked at teaching hospitals in the NHS, and we have specialists in the management of anxiety, depression, women's issues, men's issues, relationship and couples therapy and personality disorder.

We are unique in that each of our therapists is also well experienced in the business world and the public sector. We have been providing personal coaching to senior executives in such diverse fields as finance, policiing, media and architecture, as well as major charitable and government organisations.

The Bridge has five senior therapists --the qualifications, interests, training and experience of the two owner/directors are shown below.

Qualifications & Training
Sophia Dunn, MSc. Clin.Dip.Psych., Clinical Director, Supervisor, Executive Coach

Sophia trained at Guy's & St. Thomas's and Lewisham Hospitals; she is accredited by the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists) and the UPCA (Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association), and BAPT (British Association for Psychological Type)

  • qualified to the Supervisor and Trainer Level in CAT (Cognitive Analytic Therapy)
  • qualified at the Therapist Level in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
  • currently training in neurobiology and mindfulness-based treatment protocols.

  • specialises in the treatment of anxiety, depression, personality disorder and women's issues, with an interest speciality in pre and post natal and parenting issues as well as 'empty nest' and menopause issues.
  • as a Rinzai Zen practitioner for over 40 years, Sophia has a special interest in the exploration of mindfulness and meditation techniques.
  • qualified as an Executive Coach with significant experience in Finance, Media and Telecommunications
  • 15 years corporate experience as a senior Executive in the Canadian Telecoms Industry
  • MBTI® qualified; past President of the British Association for Psychological Type

    Mark Dunn, B.A., FACAT
    Consultant Psychotherapist, Clinical Director, Supervisor, Trainer.

    Mark trained at Guy's Hospital, and is a Fellow of the Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapists; he is accredited by the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists) and the UPCA (Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association)

  • qualified to the Supervisor and Trainer level in CAT (Cognitive Analytic Therapy)
  • qualified as an Executive Coach, with significant experience in the Public Sector (Policing)
  • an experienced psychotherapy researcher and writer
  • MBTI® qualified
  • specialises in the treatment of depression, anxiety and personality disorder, with a special interest in men's issues and neuro-biology based treatment protocols.
  • Mark has a special interest in depth work; the exploration of Jungian archetypes and dreamwork.

    Experience
    Sophia gained her Masters of Science in Counselling Psychology from City University, and her postgraduate (5-year) Diploma in Clinical Psychotherapy from Kings College London. She worked as an executive in varying capacities for Rogers Cantel in Toronto, Canada for over a decade. She is a past President of the British Association for Psychological Type.

    Mark is a Founding Member of ACAT (Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapists) and ran the Psychotherapy Services at Guy's Hospital (Munro Clinic) for 22 years.

    Fees
    fees range from £50 for psychotherapy students to £85 per session, depending on time of day, and therapeutic/coaching needs.
