I gained an MSc (Masters of Science) in Addiction Psychology & Counselling from Greenwich University in 2004. I have also attended various supplementary courses including Brief Solution Based Therapy, CBT and Relapse Prevention Programmes. I am currently taking a Certificate in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Motivational Interviewing, CBT and the Minnesota Model. I specialises in addiction treatment for clients and their families.

Brief Solution Focused Therapy (ATP)Experience I have worked extensively with drug & alcohol addictions, gambling, sex addictions and eating disorders. I have devised and managed addictions programmes for chemical dependency units as well as a gambling addiction unit. In 2006 I took a 6 month sabbatical working in 2 addiction treatment centres in California facilitating groups and individual sessions and conducting weekly lectures on aspects of addiction. I also visited various American treatment centres to study methods of approach. As well as seeing individual clients I also treat family members affected by chemical addiction or pathological gambling. I have a wide experience of treating people addicted to skunk/cannabis.
I have given various lectures and presentations on skunk, cannabis, alcohol & drug addiction and pathological gambling to GPs, doctors and other professionals in the UK. Fees Individuals £80.
