I am a MBACP fully qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor. This means I draw on a number of approaches and styles of counselling to help clients explore and resolve their problems, and to achieve their goals and aspirations. These include Person-centred, Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles. People enter into counselling or psychotherapy for many different reasons, and so working integratively allows me to adapt my approach to the needs of each individual.
I pride myself on practicing to the highest ethical standards and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means I adhere strictly to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Code of Ethics.
With an honest and open approach, I provide a confidential, supportive and safe space - where people can discuss and explore their personal issues, their choices, their behaviours, their thoughts, their beliefs and feelings - without fear of judgement, reproach or discrimination.
I also offer Skype and telephone sessions. I currently work online and telephone with clients within the UK and in various other countries around the world, including Pakistan and Kenya.Qualifications & Training I graduated from The Central School of Speech and Drama with BA (Hons) and have since gone onto to study British Sign Language (CACDP Levels 1 and 2), Counselling Skills (OCR), Counselling Studies (CPCAB Level 3), Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB Advanced Level 4 Diploma) and Humanistic Integrative Counselling (CPCAB Advanced Diploma).Experience I currently work as a psychotherapist in both the public and private sectors whilst also maintaining my practice in Waterloo.
