I am an IAAAC, FDAP, NCAC & UKRCP Accredited Therapist who offers a confidential and professional service to clients. I work and specialise in all areas of addiction. In addition I offer supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors working in the field.

Appointments are flexible with daytime, and evening slots.

I have done extensive training with Dr Patrick Carnes and Dr Kenneth Adams in the USA on sex addiction, and specialise in this area. I provide assessment, couple counselling, one to one and group therapy.

People choose counselling for a variety of reasons. The counselling journey can be one of adventure, discovery and change. It can also be challenging and painful.

Counselling issues that I work with include: abuse, addictions, alcohol and drug use, gambling, sex addiction, anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, gender issues, relationships, sexuality, spirituality, relationships issues and more.

Qualifications & Training

  • MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling
  • Hazelden Diploma in Addiction Counselling.
  • Hazelden Diploma in Addiction Studies.
  • Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
  • Master NLP practitioner.
  • Currently completing CSAT training in sex addiction

    Experience
    I have trained as an Hazelden addiction counsellor and completed a MSc Addiction Psychology and Counselling.

    I work to an integrative approach applying a Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Rational Emotive Therapy, CBT and NLP principles. As an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist I work to a code of ethics and practice.

    I work with people in either long or short-term contracts, helping them understand and potentially resolve a wide range of difficulties. In my London and Ireland practices, I providing ongoing support and therapy to family members and clients affected by addiction and long term recovery issues. I also provide clinical supervision to practitioners.

    I specialise in sex addiction, and have trained with Dr Patrick Carnes and Dr Kenneth Adams in the USA.

    Fees
    £45 - £100 depending upon services and location.
