I am a senior BACP accredited counsellor with ten years experience of counselling and mental health work. I work with a large variety of issues mirroring my on going interest in mental health, stemming from my degree in Social studies, completed in 1993. I have experience working in mental health for the forensic sector. I have counselled clients in the corporate and voluntary sector. I work long termly, up to three years as well as offering short term solution based therapy. Trained in Gestalt therapy, I have a BACP accredited diploma in Gestalt counselling. I believe firmly in the Gestalt ethos that the whole of us is greater than our parts. I work creatively, adhering to the BACP code of ethics.

I have a lot of interest in interacial and intercultural counselling and recently graduated from Goldsmiths with an MA in Intercultural and group therapy. I believe that all people regardless of their race, gender, culture, religion or sexuality, can reach there potential, once they have been given the oppportunity to find there 'secure base'. I am a long term employee of Mind and coordinate a counselling service for Mind in South East London.
