Resilient people problem solve, adapt and reinvent themselves to new realities; they seek opportunities in changing conditions. Resilient people do not see themselves as victims or become helpless and hopeless.

I trained with the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis, where I now help to train students at Kings College London. I trained in Traumatic Incident Reduction at TIR UK, London. I have recently trained staff at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Teachers at Pupil Referral Units in Greenwich, London. My current studies include a Professional Doctorate (Prof D) in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling (Middlesex University).
Experience Phil Pearl is a clinical hypnotherapist based in Harley Street, London, W1. He specialises in mental toughness and resilience - helping people to improve their confidence, self-esteem and overcome anxiety and stress. In conjunction with hypnotherapy he uses elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT).
