Whatever the reason, the time for starting psychotherapy or counselling is when you feel ready to address your particular issues.
An emotional crisis, the loss or break-up of an important relationship, a difficult life transition to deal with, there are many triggers for psychological struggles.
For some, a pragmatic, more solution-focused approach is enough to take new initiatives in their lives and to feel they can move on. For others, it is important to have a longer period of therapy to explore in more depth what they really want, what may have gone wrong, and how things can be changed substantially.Qualifications & Training Chartered Counselling Psychologist

MA in Counselling PsychologyExperience I work in private practice and as a Senior Associate Therapist at the London Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Over 14 years of clinical and teaching experience with groups and individuals in a one-to-one setting have shown me how a wide range of psychological suffering (such as depression, sexual problems, loneliness, worries, work-place problems, fears, lack of confidence, decision-making problems, commitment issues, addictions, and identity crisis) is often caused by self-protective, yet unhelpful patterns of relating to others. In my work with individuals, I continue to be specifically interested in the psychotherapy of a person s past and present relational struggles, be it with family members, partners, friends, lovers or at the work place.Fees The initial consultation is free of charge.
Sessions a 50 minutes will be between £40 and £60.
