It is my task to try to understand these patterns and show them to patients - usually in the context of our relationship during therapy. This then means a person has a chance to change - or at least not be dominated by something they do not understand. Such patterns can result in for example: depression, anxiety, eating problems, low self-esteem, problems with sexuality, work or relationships. I work with people who are deeply troubled, curious or in crisis.
