I have worked over the past nineteen years in the area of mental health. This includes time as an NHS psychotherapist, a substance misuse counsellor and presently as a director of counselling at an east London branch of Mind. I have also trained and worked as a mental health nurse and have a good knowledge of psychiatric presentations like depression, self-harm, personality disorders, addictions etc. I have worked with many clients who are taking anti-depressants and other similar medications. Qualifications & Training MA in Psychotherapy from the New School of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Post Grad. Dip in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regents College.
Person Centred Cert from Thames Valley University.
Cert in Counselling Psychology from University College Dublin.Fees £40 for individual one-to-one therapy. £35 for students/unwaged. Supervision also offered at £35. These are for one hour sessions. I do not charge fee for an initial meeting, as this is an opportunity for you to ask questions about me and the therapy I can offer you.
