I provide relationship counselling to couples and individuals who know that they can do relationships better, but are not quite sure how.
The time often comes in our lives when we realise we're not living as fully and joyfully as we want. We may feel stuck, dissatisfied or depressed, feel disappointment and failure in our relationships and trapped in repeating patterns. We may be experiencing difficulties at work, dealing with addictions of some kind, suffer from anxiety or feel lonely. These are all symptoms of something deeper. Often our personal relationships don’t offer us the help and support we need.
My aim is to enable & help you resolve crisis and get some insight into your life, past and present, so you can get to the root of what is preventing you from leading your life as you would wish, and discover how to make changes for an emotionally happier and healthier future.
I work with couples and individuals and offer both short-term and open-ended counselling and psychotherapy.
HOW I CAN HELP
I have a particular interest in relationship issues; general dissatisfaction with relationships, repeating patterns, affairs, power struggles in the different stages of relationships, sexuality, feelings of loneliness, disappointment and failure in relationships and more.
I have, for many years now, explored these areas of life and gained expertise in assisting individuals and couples who face these issues. I believe conflicts and pain within a relationship are an invitation for personal (and mutual) growth and healing, and have the tools to coach, support and assist you on the journey to a more fulfilling, deeper and loving relationship.Qualifications & Training
MA (Hons) in Clinical Studies.
Certified Imago Relationship therapist.Experience
I am an accredited psychotherapist with over 10 years experience, working within the BACP Ethical Framework. My professional experience includes working in private practice and in both statutory and voluntary organisations.
In addition I am an accredited IMAGO Relationship Therapist - specialising in helping people improve the way they relate and break free of old patterns to realise their potential. I can help you learn skills that will help you create more satisfying relationships with yourself, your spouse/partner and with your children, family, colleagues and friends.
Offering a warm and non-judgemental approach to my clients, I respect individuals values and personal choices.
I am committed to maintaining my professional development and attend regular further training. I also have regular supervision.Fees
£60 per session for individuals.
£80 per hour for couples counselling.
