Thinking about personal difficulties takes courage and the need for someone you feel you can talk to, who works confidentially and ethicly, and who can explore a range of treatment options with you to find the one to suit your individual needs, for example, couple therapy, brief, medium or longer term individual therapy, or in a therapy group.

I am a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, highly qualified and experienced in psychotherapy with individual clients, couples and groups, reflective supervision, and in organizational dynamics. I have a teaching qualification and many years experience teaching adults in further and higher education.

Qualifications & Training
BA (Hons), MA Psychotherapy, Qual Adult Psychotherapy (LCP), Dip Counselling, PGCE.
Training: Qualifying Course in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at London Centre for Psychotherapy, MA Psychoanalytic Group Therapy at Tavistock Clinic, Dip Counselling at Regents College, Certificate in Education (Institute of Education).

Experience
As a Consultant Adult Psychotherapist in the NHS and as a private psychotherapist I have worked with a broad range of psychiatric illness and emotional difficulties with individual clients, couples, and with therapy groups. I am particularly interested in working with anxiety, depression, addictions (drugs, food, shopping, etc), marital and relationship difficulties, and work-related stress and problems. In consultation with the client we think together about his/her particular therapeutic needs. I am experienced in supportive therapy (attending every month or two), in brief and medium focused (weekly) therapy, longer-term weekly therapy, and in intensive therapy (2-4 times a week). I am experienced in supervision and consultancy to practitioner colleagues.

Fees
£95 initial consultation (1.5 hours).
£50 per session (50 minutes).
