I provide a safe, confidential environment to explore the issues you may be experiencing. These issues may be presenting themselves in the form of depression, anxiety or affecting your relationship with your loved ones or with people around you. I provide a non-judgemental, compassionate and supportive environment which facilitates the development of self, supports the exploration of possible solutions to your issues and helps challenge negative patterns of thinking and behaviour.
Sometimes clients come to look at issues that have happened in the past, perhaps in childhood or in a previous relationship, which they feel they are unable to let go of and continue to have an impact on them in the present. At other times, clients may find themselves in a dilemma; perhaps a decision needs to be made but they feel unable to make it, or perhaps clients are having to come to terms with an illness or an event that is having an impact on their life and they are finding it difficult. Counselling can be a stepping stone to change and move forward. Some of the issues I work with as below.
Relationship issues, depression, bipolar, anxiety, panic attack, low self esteem, lack of confidence, identity issues, social fear, body image, stress, work place conflicts, self harm, addiction, chronic fatigue syndrome, domestic violence, adjustment to change and mental health well being in general.
