I am an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist, accredited by UKCP and have been in private practise for the past 14 years. The models I use include CBT, Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Existential and Transactional Analysis. Transpersonal psychotherapy states that we are spiritual beings having a human expeience as opposed to human beings having a spiritual experience. The aim of transpersonal psychotherapy is to balance the mind, body and soul allowing us to have more consciousness and joy in our lives. Some of the issues I cover in therapy are as follows:

  • Relationship Problems
  • Couples Counselling/Marriage Counselling
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Depression
  • Addiction
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Loss and Bereavement
  • Work Related Issues
  • Stress and Anxiety
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Eating Disorders
  • Abuse
  • Sexuality
  • Anger
  • Termination/Miscarriage

I specialise in relationships, low self-esteem and addiction.

I believe the key to healing lies in compassion and understanding and so working from the heart is an important part of the work I do.

Trust is also vital to the therapeutic process and in order to establish this it is important to create an environment in which the client is offered safety, warmth, integrity and continuity. These qualities are essential in order for healing to take place and change to occur.

    Qualifications & Training
I have 14 years experience working as a therapist and hold a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the CCPE (Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education). I have trained for 8 years in psychology, counselling, psychotherapy and couples therapy at The Institute for Whole Self Learning in Holland, TVU, Harrow and College for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London.

I am committed to continued professional development and am involved in ongoing training to deepen my skills as a therapist. Prior to therapy my background was in business therefore I have solid experience of the work place in the UK and abroad. I have spent long periods of time in the Middle East and Europe.

I was born and raised in Ireland but have lived and worked in UK for the last 25 years.
