My way of working is an integration of several different approaches. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT (a branch of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), which is a mindfulness-based therapy shown to be effective with a diverse range of clinical conditions. The goal of ACT is to create a rich and meaningful life, while accepting the discomforts that are inevitably part of it.

I incorporate many person-centred concepts and practices and I endeavour to provide a non-judgemental, warm and accepting relationship as well as employing certain psychodynamic principles.

My aim is to facillitate greater insight, self-understanding and clarity, increased self-acceptance, improved interpersonal relationships and a better quality of life.

I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) which can be used to treat a variety of emotional and behavioural difficulties, including anxiety, pain, panic, phobias, procrastination and trauma.
