I work with individuals at times of crisis or change in their lives, or who may be feeling stuck or searching for a new direction, or who are seeking therapy for personal development. You may be feeling unhappy or experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, shyness or lack of confidence. I also work with women wanting support during major life-changes: pregnancy, childbirth, menopause, aging, or who are grieving childness.
Psychosynthesis is concerned with issues that have their roots in childhood, which still affect us, as well as current difficulties, our goals and aspirations.
The journey of therapy is one in which we work together, mainly through talking, to explore your concerns and to discover new ways of being and relating. We might also work with the imagination, dreams, subpersonalities, dialogue, drawing, meditation and mindfulness, or journalling.Qualifications & Training Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counsellor, Institute of Psychosynthesis, M.A. Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, Institute of Psychosynthesis, London, and Middlesex University.Experience I have 9 years experience of working with clients as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
Previously, I worked in the NHS for over 40 years, mostly as a Midwife and Health Visitor.Fees £45 for 1 hour session.
