Our aim is to offer caring, private and professional services to anyone wishing to see a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist.

All our practitioners are directly supervised by Dr Ailis F Murphy (CPychol, MSc Forensic Psych, BA (Hons) Psych.)

The Liverpool Centre offers a confidential setting in which to explore and resolve personal needs, relationship issues, phobias and trauma related conditions, which may be recently developed, or have been experienced over a long time.

    We provide: counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, CBT.

    We cater for: individuals, couples, groups, corporate and EAPs.

    List of issues treated: relationships, anxiety, depression, self confidence, life crisis, stress bereavement, trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder specialists, poor self image, work issues, life improvement, emotional abuse, sexual abuse & assault, anger management, personal development, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), phobias, child counselling-therapy (11 and older, our practitioners who see children are CRB checked) and a wide range of emotional & personal issues.

    Qualifications & Training
    (Various practitioners) Diploma in Person Centered Counselling. Certified Transactional Analyst. Certificate in CBT. Diploma in Play Therapy. MA in Counselling Practice. MSc (Forensic Psych). PhD (C Psychol)

    Experience
    The experience of our practitioners varies, from 2 years up to 13.

    We have experience of most personal and relationship difficulties, excepting high end drug & alcohol abuse or gambling. As well as our private clients, we work reguarly for local solicitors, social services and businesses who are in need of our services.

    Fees
    Adults & individual sessions counselling and psychotherapy: between £45 and £49 per full hour session.

    Child counselling & therapy as above.

    Couples £55 per hour session.

    Cognitive Behavioural counselling £55 per 50 mins session.

    Corporate counselling £60 per hour session.

    Psychology & CBT by Dr Murphy £130.00 per hour session. (possible discount to £75 per hour for long term treatment).

    Psychotherapy & counselling by Peter Banczyk, director £50 per hour.
