Psychotherapy - communication between the therapist and client is the most significant element of psychotherapy. Evaluating problems and possible solutions, as well as encouraging more helpful ways of thinking and behaviour. The therapist encourages a client to express deeply felt issues and concerns, in an atmosphere which is safe, confidential, and non-judgemental.
Hynotherapy - hypnosis is a pleasant state of deep relaxation, where mental stress and bodily tension are reduced. In this state, the mind is more open to the process of positive change. By accessing the subconcious mind, the client is more able draw upon their imaginative, creative, and explorational resources. The therapist can then offer suggestions for a more helpful and positive way of addressing problems.
Couple counselling - the counsellor assists each partner in moving forward towards making positive, significant changes in a couples relationship. Exploring thoughts and feelings, and working through problems, clients can learn skills to help deal with the difficulties and challenges of their partnership in a constructive way. It is often easier to express oneself in a presence of a thrid party, a mediator, who can help with a couples understanding and perception of their relationship.
