I offer a variety of counselling approaches but am committed to starting where the clients are and to working in a way which they feel comfortable with. Broadly speaking I adopt person-centred and cognitive (CBT) approaches.
A Range of Problems
I work with people with a range of relationship and personal problems including: anxiety, relationship issues, coping with divorce, pre-marriage problems, sexual difficulties, abuse (mental, physical, sexual, spiritual), living with difficult relations (including parents and children), assertiveness, stress, loss, grief, bereavement, redundancy, depression, difficult decision making, addictions, anger management, aggression, conflict, infertility, sexuality, self-image, obsessions (OCD), personality disorders, dependency, avoidance and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
How Long?
Most of my clients come once a week or once a fortnight. Some come for between four and ten sessions; others come for a much longer period. You are in control. You attend the number of counselling sessions that seems best for you.
Supervision and Training for Therapists

I am a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Snr. Accred.) and am a registered independent practitioner on the UK Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP).Experience I have been in private practice since 1997. As well as seeing individuals who self refer, I have also worked with a range of Employee Assistance Programmes and Occupational Health Specialists offering fixed term counselling for employees (for example, Argent Rehabilitation, Psycho-Legal-Medical, Employee Advisory Resource, Workplace Options UK, Norwich Union Occupational Health, Retail Trust, Corpore, The Validium Group, Oakdale Services Ltd., East Anglian Ambulance Service, Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, First Eastern Counties Buses, Freebridge Community Housing, Norfolk County Council, Maitland Medical, Bakkavor Meals). I also receive enquiries and referals from general practitioners, solicitors, social services, adoption agencies, and charities.
I also work as a supervisor for counsellors at the One to One Project in Kings Lynn.Fees Individuals £35 per 50 minute session.
Couples £40 per 50 minute session.
Organisations £40 per 50 minute session.
