Dramatherapy uses drama and theatre approaches to promote growth, integration and healing. Individuals and groups can explore themselves and their feelings at a pace that is comfortable, using creative methods. These might include:
creating, telling and enacting stories
creating images, sounds
using small world objects in a sandtray
using movement
using masks and puppets
You do not have to be good at 'drama' to benefit from dramatherapy.Qualifications & Training MA Dramatherapy (2008)Experience children and adolescents
