I integrate into my transpersonal and body psychotherapy practice approaches to movement, body awareness, specific bodywork techniques, dream and image work, as appropriate, to offer a holistic approach which speaks to body, mind and spirit. I have worked as a somatic movement therapist since 1982 and as a psychotherapist since 1990, working with a range of issues including anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, stress-related conditions, recovery from trauma and abuse, eating disorders, psychosomatic pain and illness, bereavement and major life changes, questions of meaning and purpose in life, and psychospiritual crises. I practise in North Norfolk and Norwich.

I also run courses, retreats and a training programme in Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy (see www.ibmt.co.uk), primarily in Norfolk and the Cambridge area.

As an author I have published three books including 'Somatic Psychology: Body, Mind and Meaning', and am the editor of the Chiron Centre's recent publication 'Contemporary Body Psychotherapy: The Chiron Approach'.

Therapy sessions usually take place weekly for one hour. I offer an initial session to explore issues and help you find out if my approach would be appropriate for you.
